We will cover all the tips and tricks for using June Tailor’s Quilt-As-You-Go technique to make a quilted tree skirt. We will cover the basics of a simple tree skirt or discuss how to make a more pieced version, even add embroidery to the final product to personalize even more.

Learn to attach bias binding for a professional looking finish.

June Tailor Tree Skirt Pattern (includes printed batting for QAYG)

Best Press starch

Fabrics according to pattern:

½ m of 4 to 6 assorted fabrics

Backing 1.25 m

Binding 0.7m for bias binding

Odif 505 Spray

1/4” foot

Walking foot or MuVit Digital Dual Feed Foot with ¼” sole

Optional: binding attachment or binding foot

Bernina bias binder #95 with #88 38mm attachment

Brother Adjustable binding foot SA198 or Binder Foot SA109

OPTIONAL: if embroidering on tree skirt – Fusible woven to support fabrics in embroidery
