Tropicana by Villa Rosa Designs. This pattern calls for a Layer Cake of forty-two 10″ squares from which you make quarter-square triangles. Add a metre of background fabric to separate the squares and you’ll quickly finish up with a 61″ x 68″ quilt. Add borders and/or more blocks et voila; you have a larger quilt. Make fewer blocks and you have a terrific baby quilt. Use your scraps, a favourite collection of fabrics or whatever you wish.
