Metalized Mylar is layered between polyester fleece to create a high-quality barrier that reflects heat or cold to the source. It is very flexible and easy to sew through. You can machine wash and tumble dry with no bunching! Great insulative material for home decorating, sewing and craft projects. It is recommended that an additional layer of cotton batting be used in pot holders or oven mitts. NOTE: Insul-fleece is heat RESISTANT, not heat-PROOF nor FIRE-proof.
