Double needles are actually two different types of needles mounted on one shaft and are used to create two rows of stitches, one of each type, at the same time. The double hemstitch needle is useful for creating decorative stitching in dual rows on light or medium weight loosely-woven fabrics for heirloom sewing and decorative cutwork. A sewing machine with zigzag capabilities is required. This needle contains a hemstitch needle (also known as a wing needle) and a universal needle, size 100, with a total stitch width of 2.5mm. 1 per pack.
