Each kit comes complete with everything
needed for a kids quilt:
– Fabric
– Batting
– Binding
– Backing
– Label
– Pattern and instructions
– Storage bag (the quilters can keep it!)
Notions Required:
Thread – 60-weight neutral-coloured cotton for piecing (ie. smoke grey, taupe, khaki – no colours please)

Tools Required:
Pattern (provided)
18″ x 24″ rotary cutting mat
Rotary cutter and new blade (we recommend the OMNIGRID 28 or 45mm cutter – very safe and easy to use)
Ruler – 6½” or 8½” x 24″ for cutting fabric
Ruler – 8½” bias square
Measuring tape – 120″
Sewing machine in good working order with universal and quilting needles, bobbins and manual
Foot – ¼” piecing foot (must have for first class)
Foot – walking foot (must have for third class)
Basic sewing supplies – pins, scissors, extra sewing machine needles, etc.
Lunch will be provided for in-store participants, please bring a drink in a closed container
