  your projects. The focus will be on threads heavier than 50 wt and their 
 applications for practical sewing and their WOW factor in decorative eleme
 nts! Techniques covered in this class include quilting\, applique\, embroi
 dery\, serging\, handwork\, thread painting\, and more!\n\nObjective\n\nEq
 uip participants with an understanding of how and when heavyweight threads
  can be chosen and utilized to highlight elements of your project. We will
  also cover tool selection\, techniques\, applications and best practices.
  This lecture will have a strong emphasis on threads thicker than 50wt.
