Join us Virtually or In-store for a day full of quilting for charity with our Trendtex representative. All quilts will be donated to the Luna Center. Lunch will be provided and please bring a drink in a closed container.
Each kit comes complete with everything
needed for a kids quilt:
- Fabric
- Batting
- Binding
- Backing
- Label
- Pattern and instructions
- Storage bag (the quilters can keep it!)
Notions Required:
Thread – 60-weight neutral-coloured cotton for piecing (ie. smoke grey, taupe, khaki – no colours please)

Tools Required:
Pattern (provided)
18″ x 24″ rotary cutting mat
Rotary cutter and new blade (we recommend the OMNIGRID 28 or 45mm cutter – very safe and easy to use)
Ruler – 6½” or 8½” x 24″ for cutting fabric
Ruler – 8½” bias square
Measuring tape – 120″
Sewing machine in good working order with universal and quilting needles, bobbins and manual
Foot – ¼” piecing foot
Foot – walking foot
Basic sewing supplies – pins, scissors, extra sewing machine needles, etc.
Lunch will be provided for in-store participants, please bring a drink in a closed container
